This week’s StreetStyle pick was spotted walking down Assiniboine Avenue, enjoying the hot summer day with her family. New mom Tsehay Mohammed smiled as she carried her eight-month-old baby girl Rohama behind the Legislative Building Sunday afternoon.Tsehay and her husband moved here from Africa three years ago. She told us the fashion, styles and even fabrics are completely different but she still tries to maintains her African spunk and blend it into her Canadian wardrobe.

“I love jewelry, especially silver and African jewelry that I have at home. In Africa you wear simple, cool clothing because of the weather, so I wear lots of it here.”
